Using the convenient Precision Oiler containing 7.5cc of fine grade oil, a drop onto each brass bush of your motor/gearbox before flight can lengthen its life and even provide a touch more oomph from the same setup. It also makes things a touch quieter too. Plus it's completely plastic safe, so won't damage the gearbox structure - it can even be used to lubricate plastic parts!
