History in the Making

The Microaces Sopwith F.1 Camel replicates one of the most iconic aircraft of the WWI era to a level that sets a new bar for micro scale RC.

This Microaces Kit is a replica of the 1918 Sopwith F.1 Camel flown by Walter George Raymond Hinchliffe AKA 'Hinch' of 10 Squadron RNAS in 1918.

Hinch's Camel B7190 was distinctively decorated with its white and blue detailing including the words Donner Wetter! on the each side of the fuselage, the German for 'Thunderstorm'. 

Hinch survived the war with 6 confirmed kills, qualifying him an Ace. He was awarded the DFC for his endeavours after he was shot through the forehead and crashed in the Nieppe forest, after which he lost the sight in his left eye and suffered severe facial injuries.

Included in this multi-media model is a vac-formed cowl, free spinning 3D printed fuel pump prop and rigging part PLUS a spinning dummy rotary engine kit. All these extras add an incredible level of mechanical and visual detail to this astounding model.

Receiver Choice

So to complete the kit for radio controlled flight, all you need is an All In One (AIO) Receiver that's compatible with your transmitter.

There is also an Ordnance Detail Pack available for this model.
