All parts have been designed to be extremely light weight and are printed using a high impact resin for strength and durability.
The Fokker Triplane 3D Printed Super Detail Pack includes:
- Highly detailed Oberursel Ur.II nine-cylinder rotary engine
- Two Spandau LMG 08/15 machine guns
- New Plywood engine mount
- New Vac Formed Cowl replacement
- 4mm dia neodymium magnet
- Brass tube bearing for the rotary engine
The 3D printed rotary engine replica is designed to spin with the prop and in tests, the ballast required in the original model is substantially reduced to the point where we have not added any to the new F.1 model recently built. And it flies very well indeed.
